摘要

The present invention relates to a self-detecting method for crack and damage with a self-detecting hybrid fiber reinforced cement composite and an apparatus thereof, in order to check or monitor fine structure changing like crack and damage to a weak part of a concrete structure more accurately and sensitively where crack or damage is expected. The present invention can provide a system capable of making the concrete structure show deformation stiffening behavior and at the same time detecting damage through resistivity measurement using the hybrid fiber including a carbon fiber and a steel fiber as a stiffener. The present invention has the advantage of having a higher GF value as compared to a case of using the prior steel fiber only, and has the effect of being able to diagnose crack or damage state of the concrete structure effectively and economically simply, by finishing or constructing the weak part of the concrete structure requiring special maintenance or caution with a toughened concrete composition having conductivity, and then monitoring resistivity by flowing a current through a simply installed electrode at a desired inspection time or a constant time period.
