The present invention relates to a system for processing Styrofoam, which manufactures pellets by including a mixer which mixes a light conversion material in a melted styrene-based material in a pellet manufacturing device which manufactures pellets by melting a styrene-based material, to functional styrene-based pellets, and to a manufacturing method of the functional styrene-based pellets using the same. The system for processing Styrofoam according to the present invention manufactures the styrene-based pellets by mixing a material into the styrene-based pellets, wherein the material absorbs radiation or ultraviolet rays and converts the same into light of 400 to 500 nm, thereby being used in blocking and detecting radiation or ultraviolet rays.
