The present invention relates to a quit-smoking aid using Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaves and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method comprises: a raw material preparation step in which Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaves are sorted out and freed of foreign materials; a moistening step in which the leaves free of foreign materials are washed and moistened; a first treatment step in which the moistened leaves are dried to a water content of 40-60% of the volume of the leaves and cut into squares or rectangles of 30-50 mm; a second treatment step in which the leaves from the first treatment are coated with flour paste, and made into tobacco sheets, then dried at 70-110°C in a dryer for 5-30 minutes to a water content of 20-30%; a third treatment step in which the dried tobacco sheet material produced from the second treatment step is cut into various sizes of 3-10 mm to produce Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaf powder; and a packaging step in which the Eucommia ulmoides Oliver leaf powder is packaged in cigarette paper and made into the shape of cigarette. Such quit-smoking aids of the present invention provide the taste and smell of a regular cigarette but do not contain nicotine. Therefore, when smoked, the quit-smoking aid relieves the urge to smoke while minimizing the absorption of nicotine.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
