The present invention relates to a method of producing half-moon-shaped rice cake. According to the present invention, the method of producing the half-moon-shaped rice cake includes the following steps: preparing a half-moon-shaped rice cake which has been made; preparing a wood piece formed therein with a through-hole; immersing the wood piece in water for a predetermined time so moisture is sufficiently absorbed into the wood piece and withdrawing the wood piece from the water to prepare the wood piece; and placing the half-moon-shaped rice cake on the wood piece having the moisture and heating the half-moon-shaped rice cake.
