An electronic conference system, a control method thereof, and a digital pen are provided. The electronic conference system comprises: a digital pen which includes first and second writing units configured to input writing information by using ink and touch sensing, respectively; a sensing unit sensing a touch spot of the digital pen through the second writing unit, while writing information is inputted on a sheet of paper by using the first writing unit; a control unit configured to use the sensed touch spot by the sensing unit to generate writing information; and a communication unit transmitting the generated writing information to the outside. The present invention provides an electronic conference system allowing a plurality of users to use sensed writing information to perform a conference.
