The present invention relates to a technology for actively extracting and providing main keyword information and background image information related to the information by analyzing a phone conversation based on voice recognition during the phone conversation. According to one aspect of the present invention, the method for providing main keyword information and background image information, which is a method performed in a user terminal, comprises: a step (a) of extracting a main keyword based on at least one side of a phone conversation between a user and a counterpart and matching the extracted main keyword to phone conversation information of the counterpart to display the extracted main keyword; and a step (b) of displaying a specific background image based on tag information of the displayed main keyword information.
