The present invention relates to a high-carbon hot-rolled steel sheet applied to a machine component, tools, a vehicle component, and the like. The present invention provides the high-carbon hot-rolled steel sheet with excellent material uniformity and the excellent solid phase bonding properties proper to a continuous rolling process and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a high-carbon hot-rolled steel sheet with excellent solid phase bonding properties comprising: 0.2-0.6 wt% of C; 0.5 wt% of Si or less (exclusive of 0); 0.2-1.5 wt% of Mn; 0.03 wt% of P or less (exclusive of 0); 0.015 wt% of S or less (exclusive of 0); 0.05 wt% of Al or less (exclusive of 0); 0.01 wt% of N or less (exclusive of 0); and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable of impurities and satisfying the below relational expression (1) and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the high-carbon hot-rolled steel sheet with the excellent solid phase bonding properties while having excellent material uniformity can be provided.
