Provided is a method for modeling a target object based on particles, in which a calculation load on modeling is decreased. The method includes the steps of: modeling a movement of a target object by using coarse particles generated by down-sampling original particles configuring the target object that is modeled based on particles; and redefining the original particles based on a result of the modeling.
