APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR QUESTION-ANSWERING USING USER INTEREST INFORMATION BASED ON KEYWORD INPUT

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for question-answering using user interest information based on keyword input. The apparatus includes: a keyword matching module for matching a keyword query input of a user with an entity and a property of a database; a query generator for generating a query for extracting appropriate data to be outputted to the user based on the matched entity and property; a triple extractor for extracting an appropriate triple from a knowledge-based database by using the generated query; and an answer generator for outputting the extracted triple into a natural language by using resources for generating the natural language. Accordingly, related information is extracted and outputted in a form of the natural language when the user inputs a keyword, so that information requested by the user is obtained simply, comprehensively and readably.
