The present invention relates to data compression using binary cluster division and universal code mapping, and a releasing method thereof. The method comprises: a step of adding 1 to a most significant bit such that original binary data starts with 1; a step of dividing binary cluster when the number of bits of the cluster, grown until there is a bit change while moving from the most significant bit of an original binary data toward a least significant bit, is greater than or equal to 2 bit; and a step of reversing the bit forming the divided binary cluster when the divided binary cluster starts with 0 in the above step, and dividing the binary cluster.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
