The present invention relates to a communication terminal for location-based services and a control method thereof, a location determination server and a control method thereof, a recording medium for recording a program for executing the control methods, and an application stored in the recording medium to execute the control methods by being combined with hardware. The control method of a communication terminal which communicates with a plurality of base stations comprises the steps of: receiving timing advance (TA) information from a first base station among the plurality of base stations; determining each reference signal received power (RSRP) with respect to signals of a second base station and a third base station among the plurality of base stations; and determining the current location of a communication terminal by using all of the TA information of the first base station, the RSRP of the signal of the second base station, and the RSRP of the signal of the third base station. Therefore, the control method of the present invention can accurately determine the location of the communication terminal.
