The present invention provides a frame to measure a sound wave propagation velocity of sediments. According to the present invention, the frame to measure the sound wave propagation velocity of sediments allows sound wave propagation velocity to be measured through an insertion plate inserted into an inside of a sediment by a falling operation, thereby removing a need to form or collect a sample and suppress a disturbance of the sample to a maximum; and allows a sound wave transceiver formed on the insertion plate to accurately adhere to an unconsolidated sediment to transmit or receive sound waves, thus reducing an error in the calculation of the sound wave propagation velocity. According to the present invention, the frame to measure the sound wave propagation velocity of sediments comprises: a base plate to form a lower portion; a vertical guide support vertically installed in an upper side of the base plate; a horizontal guide support coupled to a vertical moving body to move along with the vertical moving body, having a plurality of guide legs; and a plurality of mounts fixated to the respective guide legs of the horizontal guide support to horizontally move. A sound wave transceiver transmitting or receiving sound waves, and a distance measuring means measuring a distance between the mounts facing each other are formed on the mounts facing each other. As the vertical moving body and the horizontal guide support falls, the mounts are inserted inside of the sediments placed on a base plate. While a sound wave delay time and a distance between mounts facing each other among the inserted mounts is able to be measured by the sound wave transceiver and the distance measuring means, the sound wave propagation velocity of the sediments is able to be calculated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
