PROPAGATION VELOCITIES OF ELASTIC WAVES IN SATURATED SOILS

摘要

Based on the wave equations established by the anthors,the characteristics ofpropagation velocities of elastic waves in saturated soils are analyzed and verified byultrasonic test in laboratory and seismic survey in the field.The results provide theoreticalbasis for the determination of physical and mechanical parameters of saturated soils usingpropagation velocities of elastic waves,especially P-wave Velocity.
