The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing leather by processing glove leather of cowhide capable of preventing polluted water from being discharged to the outside, and more particularly, to a method of manufacturing glove leather capable of reducing discharge of polluted water, the method comprising the following steps: soaking a raw hide by inputting water; chrome treating the soaked raw hide using chrome; neutralizing the chrome treated raw hide; dyeing and fatliquoring the neutralized raw hide; fixing the raw hide through dyeing and fatliquoring steps; and topping the fixed raw hide. More preferably, the basic steps are performed by inputting 20 to 40 wt% of water with respect to 100 wt% of inputted hide; rotating the hide in a drum for 20 to 40 minutes to soak the hide; and inputting 2 to 5 wt% of chrome and then operating the drum for 1 to 3 hours. The neutralizing step is performed by inputting 3 to 7 wt% of a neutralization agent with respect to 100 wt% of the inputted hide after completion of the basic steps; and operating the drum for 1 to 3 hours, wherein the neutralization agent is a mixture of formic acid sodium bicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate at a ratio of 1:1. Therefore, since polluted water is not discharged to the outside, an eco-friendly process can be achieved and manufacturing costs are decreased as well, and since less amount of water is used, relatively greater amount of hides can be processed at once, operating loads can be reduced, and thus an effect of lowering production costs according to energy saving can be achieved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
