摘要

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating parasitic infection in fish, containing, as an active ingredient, a Piper longum extract and a compound isolated from Piper longum. The composition of the present invention inhibits cell death in fish due to infection by Miamiensis avidus and induces death of Miamiensis avidus. Thus, the composition can be effective as an agent for preventing and treating parasitic infection in cultured fish.
