The present invention relates to a seat for a pregnant woman in a public transportation vehicle and, specifically, to a seat for a pregnant woman in a public transportation vehicle, enabling only a pregnant woman to have a seat in a public transportation vehicle such as a subway. According to the present invention, the seat for a pregnant woman in a public transportation vehicle includes: a seat unit which is unfolded or folded as one end is mounted on a main body of the public transportation vehicle to be able to rotate in a vertical direction; a driving unit rotating the seat unit; an identification unit identifying an identification mark which the pregnant woman has; and a control unit controlling the driving unit by determining whether the identification unit identifies the identification mark. The control unit operates the driving unit in order for the seat unit to be horizontally spread when the identification unit identifies the identification mark and operates the driving unit in order for the seat unit to be vertically folded when the identification unit cannot identify the identification mark.
