The present invention relates to a method for separating a cellulose nano-crystal from a ligneous biomass. According to the present invention, a cellulose nano-crystal may be effectively separated by selectively dissolving only lignin from a lignin and cellulose nano-crystal mixture generated when a ligneous biomass is decomposed into monosaccharide through a strong acid hydrolyzing procedure. According to the method of the present invention, a cellulose nano-crystal generated when monosaccharide is produced from a cellulose and a hemicellulose of a ligneous biomass may be separated, so a cellulose nano-crystal may be produced at low costs and at high yield.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
