A pendulum movement experimental device using an infrared sensor according to the present invention includes: a base part; a support installed on an upper surface of the base part; a rotation center part rotatably installed on an upper end portion of the support to be a center of a pendulum movement; a pendulum for performing the pendulum movement about the rotation center part; a connection string for connecting the pendulum to the rotation center part; the infrared sensor installed at the support for measuring information with respect to the pendulum movement of the pendulum; and an operation module connected to the infrared sensor for controlling the measurement by the infrared sensor and displaying the information with respect to the pendulum movement. According to the present invention, an angle of the pendulum movement, the weight of the pendulum, the length of the string and so on are set more accurately, and a period of the pendulum movement is measured by using the infrared sensor, so that experiment is performed more elaborately and a result of the experiment is obtained more accurately.
