The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for automatic control of an antiscalant used in a reverse osmosis filtration process. The apparatus for automatic antiscalant input quantity control includes: a sample collection unit collecting a sample of condensate water sequentially filtered through pre-treatment filtration and reverse osmosis filtration processes; a charge quantity detection unit detecting a charge quantity of the sample; a calculation processing unit calculating an antiscalant input quantity in accordance with the charge quantity detected by the charge quantity detection unit; an antiscalant injection unit injecting the antiscalant into the pre-treatment filtration process, the input quantity being the quantity calculated by the calculation processing unit; and a driving control unit controlling driving of the sample collection unit and the antiscalant injection unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
