The present invention relates to a twin roll type thin sheet casting apparatus, a method to manufacture a duplex stainless thin steel sheet using the same, and the duplex stainless thin steel sheet. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is the twin roll type thin sheet casting apparatus comprising: a pair of casting rolls rotating in an opposite direction to each other; an edge dam installed to form a molten pool on both sides of the pair of casting rolls; and a meniscus shield provided to block contacting between an external air and the molten pool by covering an upper part of the molten pool. Mountains and valleys are arranged in turn along a circumferential direction on a surface of the casting roll. Moreover, a mountain area ratio, which is an area ratio of the mountain, is greater on an edge part than on a center part. The stainless thin steel sheet with improved edge quality is able to be provided using the casting roll wherein the mountain area ratio is greater on the edge part than on the center part.
