Disclosed are a system for a cloud streaming service, and a method and apparatus for an image cloud streaming service using drawing layer separation. A cloud streaming server transmits a capture image, in which a still image corresponding to an application execution screen is encoded, and an animation message to a user terminal device. Then the user terminal device generates an application execution screen including an animation interim screen and an animation termination screen by using animation information, included in the animation message, and the capture image, and displays the animation interim screen and the animation termination screen on different screen layers. Accordingly, unnecessary animation processing in the cloud streaming server can be reduced, thereby enabling the number of web containers which can be driven by the server to increase. Furthermore, return to a normal termination screen can be made even when error occurs during playback of an animation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
