The present invention relates to a method for preparing a rose-shaped Au/Pd-Fe_3O_4 nanocomposite which is synthesized through fixing gold nanoparticles on a Pd-Fe_3O_4 support prepared from thermal decomposition of Fe(CO)_5 and reduction of Pd(OAc)_2, and a carbon-carbon cross coupling reaction using the same as a catalyst. The nanocomposite of the present invention, due to the rose petal-shaped Pd-Fe_3O_4 nanosheet structure, has a large specific surface area imparting a high catalytic activity to the Pd-Fe_3O_4 support. Also, due to the characteristic of a catalyst in which two metals are hybridized, the nanocomposite has superior catalytic activity and reusability compared to various conventionally used catalysts. Synthesized Au/Pd-Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites can be advantageously used for the carbon-carbon cross coupling reaction.
