VARIABLE DIAMETER PROTECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR MINIMAL INVASIVE SURGERY

The present invention relates to a protector assembly having a variable diameter and used for a minimal invasive surgery. The protector assembly comprises: a plurality of ribs having a plate shape having a particular width and a particular length; and a connection member capable of being elongated, and connecting one of the ribs with a neighboring rib thereof. According to the ribs, a pattern in which the edge of one thereof and the edge of a neighboring rib thereof overlap each other is repeated, so the overall ribs are formed in a cylindrical shape having a channel formed therein. The ribs formed in the cylindrical shape are inserted through an opening of a surgery subject, and the inner diameter of the cylindrical shape is changed according to elongation of the connection member. Accordingly, the inner diameter is changed to be applied to various surgery parts, so a surgery can be stably and accurately performed.
