Disclosed are a system for cloud streaming service, and a method and apparatus for image cloud streaming service through division of a changed image. The method for image cloud streaming service through division of a changed image may comprise the steps of: generating a first region including a changed part of an application execution screen; determining whether to divide the first region by referring to characteristics of the first region, and generating a plurality of second regions by dividing the first region based on the changed part by using a determined division method when the first region is determined to be divided; detecting at least one of the second regions corresponding to the changed part; and capturing an image so that the image corresponds to the at least one of the second regions, compressing the captured image by using a still image encoding method, and transmitting the compressed image to a terminal of a user. Accordingly, the amount of data transmitted during image cloud streaming service can be significantly reduced, thereby improving speed of the cloud streaming service.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
