The present invention relates to a golf swing motion correction system and a golf swing motion correction method. The golf swing motion correction system is interlinked to a user terminal such as a smartphone, and thus is capable of performing efficient evaluation and correction with respect to a users golf swing posture. The golf swing motion correction system according to the present invention includes: a position detection sensor block positioned at a lower end of a golf club shaft and generating sensing information by sensing a movement trajectory resulting from a users swing motion; a sensor control block positioned above the position detection sensor block in the golf club shaft and controlling the sensing information of the position detection sensor block; a wireless communication module transmitting the sensing information from the position detection sensor block and the sensor control block to the user terminal such as a mobile phone, a smartphone, and a PDA; and the user terminal transmitting the sensing information from the position detection sensor block and the sensor control block from the wireless communication module, evaluating the sensing information by program control, and displaying the sensing information on a display screen. According to the present invention, a users golf swing trajectory is tracked based on the sensing information of the position detection sensor block provided in the golf club shaft and the trajectory is displayed on the user terminal. Accordingly, accurate swing information can be provided even without expensive imaging equipment.
