The present invention relates to a method for determining a chlorination breakpoint by performing statistical quadratic regression on values of changes in pH of a chlorination reactor at a chlorine disinfection step of a water purification or sewage treatment process, and also relates to a device for controlling the amount of chlorine to be injected and a chlorine disinfection system using the method. The method for determining a chlorination breakpoint according to the present invention comprises the steps of: introducing ammonia bearing water for chlorine disinfection into a chlorination reactor; injecting a chlorine agent into the chlorination reactor at a predetermined speed; monitoring values of changes in pH of the chlorination reactor; and obtaining a second-order polynomial regression by performing statistical regression on the monitored values of changes, and determining a minimum point of the obtained second-order polynomial regression to be a breakpoint of the amount of chlorine agent to be injected. The method for determining a chlorination breakpoint according to the present invention provides an effect of more accurately determining the amount of chlorine agent to be injected by using only a pH curve even in a low-concentration ammonia condition (a low contamination condition) in which it is difficult to determine the amount of chlorine agent to be injected by using a conventional method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
