The present invention provides a household situation notification apparatus capable of automatically transmitting, in a mobile instant message, a household situation such as returning home of children or appearing of a visitor at households through a shared front door reader installed at a shared front door of an apartment building such as an apartment. The household situation notification apparatus includes: a shared front door reader installed at every entrance of each block of an apartment building to receive key information by communicating with communication equipment of an entering person; and a network server installed therein with a mobile instant message application for communicating with a mobile instant message server, and having a household communication registration table matched to each household of the apartment building. When the key information provided by the communication equipment of the entering person is received by the shared front door reader, a mobile instant message related to entry of the shared front door is transmitted to a mobile instant message server.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
