The present invention relates to an application system for providing cuisine recipes, and more particularly, to an application system for providing cuisine recipes capable of recommending a cuisine recipe based on cooking materials a user keeps and providing a cooking method for the recommendation. According to the present invention, a method for operating an application of a user terminal by connecting to a service server comprises the following steps: displaying a list of keeping materials received from the service server; inputting changed material to update the list of keeping material; and receiving and displaying a recommended recipe searched from the service server based on a search word input by a user.
