The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for skin moisturizing comprising an extract mixture of Taraxacum platycarpum h. dahlstedt, heartleaf houttuynia, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer, and root bark of Ulmus davidiana as active ingredients. An extract mixture of Taraxacum platycarpum h. dahlstedt, heartleaf houttuynia, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer, and root bark of Ulmus davidiana of the present invention is proven to be effectively used as a cosmetic composition for skin moisturizing as it is confirmed that the extract mixture of Taraxacum platycarpum h. dahlstedt, heartleaf houttuynia, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer, and root bark of Ulmus davidiana does not exhibit cytotoxicity, increases the expression of the proteins such as involucrin and loricrin, which constitute keratinocytes, promotes cell proliferation, and inhibits moisture loss from the skin when the mixture is applied to mice.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
