The present invention relates to a method for optimizing an analytical model on hardware linking a CAD system (10) and a lightweight model visualization system (20). The method for optimizing an analytical model includes: a step of generating a three-dimensional lightweight model using the lightweight model visualization system (20) (S10); a step of determining whether search of an appearance model is required in the lightweight model (S20); a step of performing verification and modification when the search of the appearance model is necessary (S30); and a step of changing to an analytic model when the search of the appearance model is unnecessary (S40). Therefore, the method for optimizing an analytic model provides a three-dimensional analytic model optimized in a shipbuilding/marine design process and reduces periods consumed for an analytic work. So, the method for optimizing an analytic model can reduce additional costs for remodeling the analytic model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
