Disclosed are a method and a device for social funding, capable of using a personal credit rating evaluation estimated based on big data analysis. The social funding method, providing a mutual assistance society environment in the social network service (SNS) through the social funding device able to access the SNS, includes: a step of receiving a request signal for a credit rating evaluation about a member candidate of the SNS from a member terminal or leader terminal of a mutual assistance society; a step of evaluating the credit rating of the member candidate by analyzing big data of the member candidate, able to be collected from the SNS, in accordance with the request signal for the credit rating evaluation; and a step of providing a result of the credit rating evaluation about the member candidate to the leader terminal or member terminal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
