ZEBRAFISH FOR LIVER-SPECIFICALLY EXPRESSING hIL-6 GENE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

The present invention relates to transformed zebrafish, a method for screening a candidate material for treating liver cancer using the zebrafish, and a method for predicting a treating effect of a liver cancer treating agent with respect to liver cancer. More specifically, the present invention relates to transformed zebrafish for liver-specifically expressing an hIL-6 gene, a method for producing the zebrafish, a method for screening a candidate material for treating liver cancer using the zebrafish, and a method for predicting a treating effect of a liver cancer treating agent with respect to liver cancer. The transformed zebrafish according to the present invention liver-specifically expresses an hIL-6 gene to promote chronic inflammation of a liver and to generate liver tumor. When the hIL-6 gene is expressed, a fluorescent protein is expressed together. Accordingly, correlation between the hIL-6 gene and liver cancer can be visually observed by the growth process of the transformed zebrafish.
