The present invention relates to a novel antibiotic peptide derived from a ribosomal protein L1 of Helicobacter pylori and its use, and specifically relates to a novel antibiotic peptide derived from Helicobacter pylori by substituting proline for phenylalanine, which is the 12th amino acid of the peptide consisting of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: To thereby synthesize a novel peptide represented by SEQ. ID. NO. 4, and by confirming that the novel peptide exhibited significant antimicrobial activity and no cytotoxicity, the novel peptide can be used as an effective ingredient of a natural antimicrobial agent.
