APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SHAPE OF COLD ROLLED STEEL PLATE

A device to control a shape of a cold-rolled steel plate comprises: an approximating part approximating a flatness of a cold-rolled material with a polynomial expression by using a least square technique after symmetrically moving an upper middle roll and a lower middle roll in an axial direction to as much to a quantity as a same horizontal movement; a compensation value calculating part calculating a first compensation value for the quantity of the horizontal movement of the upper middle roll and a second compensation value for a quantity of a horizontal movement of a lower middle roll using a coefficient of an approximated polynomial expression; and an operating part moving the lower middle roll based on the second compensation value, and moving the upper middle roll based on the first compensation value in an axial direction. As a wave deviation between a work side (W/S) and a drive side (D/S) is reduced, a slip of consecutive cold rolling is reduced while the rolled material is prevented from being swerved.
