The present invention relates to a method for preparing a surface charge switching nanocomposite capable of selectively accumulating in a disease site in response to a weak acidic pH at a disease site such as a tumor to enhance the contrast effect of a magnetic resonance imaging After synthesizing polylysine, a new type of nanoparticle was prepared by chemically bonding a hydrophobic substance and a pH - sensitive substance and encapsulating magnetic iron oxide particles therein. The prepared nanoparticles can be operated only in the acidic environment by switching the surface charge by removing the pH sensitive material in an acidic environment lower than in vivo pH. This can effectively deliver the contrast agent to the disease site and maximize the contrast effect.
