The present invention relates to a method for preparing an artificial grass coating liquid and eco-friendly artificial grass manufactured by the method, wherein, when a series of processes for manufacturing artificial grass are carried out, an artificial grass coating liquid added with a phytoncide extract obtained from cypress, wood vinegar, and an acrylate copolymer, is used, and the artificial grass is realized by adopting this artificial grass coating liquid, thereby actively maximizing the pullout force and pullout retention rate of piles of the target artificial grass with respect to primary backing cloth and promoting an efficient space to induce the advocacy of a more pleasant and stable state to a user through functionalities, such as antibiotic and insect-proof functions, resulting from the phytoncide extract and wood vinegar components.
