METHOD FOR DIALOGUE MANAGEMENT USING MEMORY INTENSITY OF USER KNOWLEDGE AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for managing a dialogue using the memory intensity of user knowledge. The method for managing a dialogue comprises the following steps of: extracting units of knowledge from an input sentence; establishing first ontology by extracting the memory intensity for each unit of knowledge, and establishing second ontology by sorting the units of knowledge based on the intended use of a dialogue system; generating one or more answer candidates for the input sentence by correcting one or more answer samples which are previously extracted based on the first ontology and the second ontology; and selecting a final answer by assessing the adequacy of the one or more answer candidates. Therefore, the present invention can enhance the satisfaction of users with the dialogue system and can be applied to a wide range of technical fields at the same time, by providing a customized dialogue service for each user.
