Disclosed is a Sn-MP three-component anode active material for a lithium ion battery having improved charge-discharge cycle characteristics. The present invention relates to Sn-MP 3 component lithium-ion battery active material, wherein Sn: M: P in the active material is represented by x: y: z where x, y and z are numbers of moles and M is Fe, (X + y): z is in the range of 1: 1 to 1: 4, and the Sn 4 P 3 crystal is at least one selected from the group consisting of Sn, And a first phase in which the M is dissolved in the Sn-MP 3 component-based lithium-ion battery active material. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a negative electrode active material of a lithium ion battery which reduces a change in volume in a charge-discharge cycle while realizing a high theoretical capacity of a tin phosphate.
