PENCIL SHAPED CYLINDRICAL SAMPLER CAPABLE OF BEING MOUNTED WITH POLYMERS TO CONCENTRATE ORGANIC CONTAMINANTS

The present invention relates to a pencil shaped cylindrical sampler capable of being mounted with polymers to concentrate organic contaminants. The sampler comprises: a sampler cover (200) in a shape of a cylinder which forms a through-hole with rectangular section in a middle part; a body (100) mounted to the sampler cover (200) on which polymers to concentrate organic contaminants is able to be placed; an upper plug (300) which holds one end of the sampler cover (200) and the body (100); and a lower plug (300′) which holds an other end of the sampler cover (200) and the other end of the body (100). The sample has special advantages wherein the present invention is able to be inserted in a site through a hole with a diameter greater than 1 cm which is perforated in a soil or an underground water with equipment such as a hand drill after mounting polymers concentrated with organic matters; the present invention is able to be implemented to a passive sampler which is an application of a phenomenon of polymers being concentrated by a diffusion of contaminants; and moreover, a concentration of contaminants is able to conveniently be measured when compared with a generally used sampling method of soil and underground pore water.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
