METHOD OF MODELING ROOF ELEMENT OF TRADITIONAL WOODEN ARCHITECTURE USING FUNCTIONAL FORMULA

The present invention relates to a method for modeling a traditional Korean house roof member by using a functional formula. To perform modeling of the shape of the traditional Korean house roof member, angles of inclination of outlines of a triangle wood piece and angle rafters which are angles of inclination of lower sides of the angle rafters placed on a main beam and a middle beam are determined by a trigonometrical function using, as an independent variable, one or more from the length of the triangle wood piece, the distance between the main beam and the middle beam when seen from a horizontal plane, and a height difference between the main beam and the middle beam. According to the method for modeling a traditional Korean house roof member, the outline of the triangle wood piece and the angle rafters can be modeled in a more accurate and easier manner, and various eave curves can be designed by calculating angles of the rafters by considering the size of the triangle wood piece.
