Disclosed are a manufacturing method of water soluble mastic comprising methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) and a composition. The water soluble mastic can be manufactured by inserting 0.1-99.9 wt% of mastic power containing a mastic component and 0.1-99.9 wt% of a mixture manufactured by mixing mastic-containing powder, an aqueous agent consisting of water or alcohol or a mixture of water and alcohol, and an edible surfactant into a grinding agitator to agitate the mixture. The mastic containing MSM can be applied and used for a satisfactory recovery rate of an active component of the mastic, a simplified process, and an additive in a wide range of fields.
