MEMORY RECOVERY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EFFECTIVE DATA RECOVERY AFTER POWER FAILURE

Disclosed are a memory recovery apparatus and a method for effective data recovery after a power failure. The memory recovery method may comprise the steps of: determining first user blocks, which belong to a plurality of user blocks on which data will be recorded and on which the data is expected to be recorded, based on a recovery time of a mapping table requested by a user; recording a first mapping table on a spare region and last page of the determined first user blocks; changing the first user blocks into second user blocks on which recording of data has been completed when the data has been recorded on all the determined first user blocks; recording a second mapping table for the determined second user blocks on a map block; recovering the first mapping table recorded on the determined first user blocks after an abnormal power failure; recovering the second mapping table recorded on the map block in a snapshot form; and checking the first user blocks on which the data has been recorded immediately before the abnormal power failure using the first mapping table and the second mapping table.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
