A method for detecting an unusual situation comprises the following steps: generating a corresponding riding pattern by days of the week in a first mobile terminal; receiving position information of the first mobile terminal from the first mobile terminal; generating speed information of the first mobile terminal based on the position information of the first mobile terminal; determining a vehicle riding status based on the speed information of the first mobile terminal; connecting the first mobile terminal to a second mobile terminal when the speed information of the first mobile terminal is mismatched with the riding pattern; and tracking the first mobile terminal.
