The present invention relates to a method to predict a particle diameter of cokes, capable of predicting a blast furnace work in accordance with a quality of the charging cokes. According to an embodiment of the present invention, in the method to predict the particle diameter of cokes, a coke sample on a lower part of the blast furnace is collected in different blast furnace processes in accordance with a working condition or a quality condition of the cokes. The cokes sample is analyzed, and correlation elements related to the particle diameter of the lower part of the blast furnace are deducted using a regression analysis. A prediction formula wherein the correlation elements are applied as an independent variable, is deducted. The correlation elements comprises: an input rate of oxygen in the blast furnace; cokes strength after reaction (CSR); and a charging cokes size (MS). The prediction formula is expressed in the following. MS_(the lower part of the blast furnace) change rate = -0.37 * oxygen inflow change rate + 0.36 * CSR_(charging cokes) change rate + 0.78 * MS_(charging cokes) change rate; wherein MS_(the lower part of the blast furnace) is the particle diameter of the cokes in the lower part of the blast furnace, CSR_(charging cokes) is a warm strength of the cokes charged into the blast furnace, and MS_(charging cokes) is the particle diameter of the cokes charged into the blast furnace.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
