CCTV MONITORING SYSTEM USING EVENT IMAGE OVERLAYED BACKGROUND IMAGE

Disclosed is a CCTV system using an event image overlaid onto a background image to reduce the necessary data storage capacity. To that end, the CCTV system includes: a storage module in which a reference image file transmitted by a digital video camera monitoring a monitoring target area and the information about the target area are stored; a background image extraction module which extracts a background image from the reference image file; an event image extraction module which extracts an event image by analyzing the reference image file; an editing module which generates an edited image file in which the event image is overlaid onto the background image; and a control module which stores the edited image file in the storage module and deletes the reference image fine from the storage module. According to the present invention, the present invention can reduce the installation costs by reducing the data storage capacity necessary for the installation of a CCTV system and does not require a separate space for the installation of a storage medium.
