The present invention relates to an oil vapor liquefaction system having cooling and defrosting functions and a defrosting method using the same. The oil vapor liquefaction system having cooling and defrosting functions, comprises: a compressor which compresses a gas to high temperature and high pressure; a condenser which liquefies the high temperature and high pressure gas coming out of the compressor; a vaporizer which phase-changes the liquefied gas having passed through the condenser into a gas phase by heat exchange, and moves the phase-changed gas back to the condenser; and a 4-way reversing valve which is installed to communicate with each of the compressor, the condenser, and the vaporizer, wherein the high temperature and high pressure gas in the compressor is supplied through the 4-way reversing valve to the condenser and becomes defrosted therein. According to the present invention, through a heat pump mechanism which provides cooling function and requires defrosting function, defrosting process is performed as the high temperature and high pressure gas coming out of the compressor is supplied to the vaporizer, requiring no additional defrosting apparatus, thus the cost for defrosting apparatus is reduced. Also, by supplying the gas coming out after defrosting to the compressor in a reduced pressure state, resistance of the compressor is reduced, preventing loads in the compressor; the backflow of gas which occurs when the heat pump mechanism is applied is prevented through a check valve, thus the backflow of gas is prevented from damaging the components while increasing defrosting and cooling efficiencies.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
