A space matching system according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a space matching system for matching a display coordinate system and a sensor coordinate system, includes: a display apparatus for forming a virtual space by outputting an image on a screen; an image sensor disposed at a location where the image outputted on the screen is not directly observed for observing a real space facing the screen; a processor for controlling the display apparatus and the image sensor; and a plane mirror disposed to project the image outputted on the screen (display image) onto a mirror surface, and allow the image sensor to photograph the display image projected on the mirror surface (reflected image). The display apparatus has a unique display coordinate system defining coordinates of the virtual space. The image sensor has a unique sensor coordinate system defining coordinates of the real space, analogizes a relational conversion formula of the sensor coordinate system and the display coordinate system by using symmetry of incidence angle and reflection angle of light in respect of the mirror surface, and compares coordinates of the reflected image in respect of the sensor coordinate system (comparison coordinates) with known coordinates of the reflected image in respect of the sensor coordinate system (reference coordinates) to adjust the relational conversion formula of the sensor coordinate system and the display coordinate system.
