The present invention relates to a method and system for authenticating a user through electrocardiogram signal recognition in a biometric signal measurement environment using a wearable sensor. The method for authenticating a user comprises the steps of: (1) collecting, by an authentication data collection unit, user authentication data; (2) transmitting the authentication data collected at step (1) to an authentication unit via wired or wireless communication; and (3) authenticating a user by comparing the authentication data transmitted to the authentication unit at step (2) with user data previously stored. According to the method and system for authenticating a user through electrocardiogram signal recognition in a biometric signal measurement environment by using a wearable sensor, which are proposed in the present invention, a user can be authenticated by using a unique pattern of an electrocardiogram signal, which is unique to each person, in a biometric signal measurement environment using a wearable sensor, thereby simply and conveniently authenticating a user.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
