STL FILE INCLUDING TEXT INFORMATION AND, STL FILE SEARCHING AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THEREFOR

The present invention relates to a stereo lithography (STL) file including text information, and an STL file search and management system using the same. The STL file additionally stores text information related to 3D modeling data of a conventional STL file in addition to the 3D modeling data, thereby improving ability of the 3D modeling data to deliver information, and also significantly improving service usability of the STL file. The STL file also additionally stores thumbnail information, thereby significantly improving convenience of use of a user and efficiency of management of the file. The STL file manages the 3D modeling data, the text information, and the thumbnail information as a single file, and thus the STL file is configured to enable the text information to be separately utilized, thereby improving usability of a service using the STL file. Furthermore, a search and management server extracts 3D modeling data, a thumbnail image, and text information from an NSTL file received from a client, divides the 3D modeling data, the thumbnail image, and the text information on a per-preset field basis, and stores results of the division in a database unit, thereby significantly improving efficiency and reliability of search. An NSTL file search and management system for providing an NSTL file, including 3D modeling data of an input STL file and text information related to the 3D modeling data, as a search result in response to a search request comprises: an NSTL file generation device which generates and edits an NSTL file, and transmits the generated and edited NSTL file to the outside; and a search and management server which provides a search result to a user in response to a search request of the user.
