Disclosed is a coarse particle capture device for a thermal power plant. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a coarse particle capture device for capturing a coarse particle produced during combustion of a thermal power plant comprises: a main duct installed between an inlet duct extended in a first direction and an outlet duct extended in a second direction to connect the inlet duct and the outlet duct; a hopper installed at a bottom part of the main duct to capture a coarse particle; and a flow converter installed in the main duct to increase a capturing rate of the coarse particle by converting a flow direction of gas introduced from the inlet duct.
